Goran Pandev’s lawyer has admitted they remain "convinced" of the case they put forth at an arbitration hearing over the forward’s application to have his contract with Lazio cancelled.

Pandev's lawyer, Matthias Grassani, told the press, "We are convinced of our arguments", before assuring the media that they were "neither worried nor confident".

Grassani admitted that it had been a long, complicated case as they await a decision that should arrive tomorrow.

"The case has beaten all records of longevity, complexity and even conflict," he said. "We take note of the concerns put forward by the other party, but any evaluation will be made after the verdict of the arbitration."

With a decision expected as early as tomorrow, Pandev’s long battle with the Biancocelesti hierarchy may finally come to and end.

The forward told Mediaset that he "can’t wait to leave [Lazio]" and should it go the Macedonian’s way tomorrow, he may be a free agent by the morning, with Jose Mourinho’s Inter rumoured to be eagerly waiting to pounce.

The presiding judge in the case has been fed up with Lotito and has vowed to bring Pandev's case to closure even if it meant having to 'decide while driving in a car'. This is ofcourse due to Lotito's games of delaying and prolonging the case.

If Pandev were to win the case, no one is sure who would get his signature. While Italian media has speculated Inter is the closest, Juventus, AC Milan are also said to be ready to pounce.  British based clubs Liverpool and Chelsea have worked all angles and could surprise the Italian clubs by getting the Macedonian.
