Jeremic: Serbia has no Intention to Join NATO PDF Print E-mail

Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic said that Belgrade will not be taking steps towards joining NATO, but will be cooperating with the Alliance, Belgrade-based daily Vecernje novosti reads.

He said that Serbia is not thinking of joining any military alliance currently.

However, he said that Serbia will cooperate with NATO and all other organizations in the Western Balkans towards maintaining peace and stability.

He said that it is of great importance in Serbia’s diplomatic approach for the security dimension in Kosovo to be discussed at the highest level.

Jeremic was attending the Munich Security Conference, which he said is the most important conference of its kind that will be held in 2010.
