Spain is the new World's #1, the Dutch moved into the second position while Brazil is third according to the latest FIFA ranking. New Zealand (MINA's favorite WC team) was the big mover for this month, earning 147 points and moving up 24 places for their deserved 54th spot. However, FIFA rankings wouldn't be fun if they are not followed by numerous discrepencies. For example, Belgium shot up 11 places, gained 48 points, but have not played any matches nor qualified for the WC. Scotland, who also didn't play any matches, gained no points. Where did Belgium's points come from? In Macedonia's case it gets stranger, as the national team played two matches in the last month, one against Azerbaijan, the other vs Romania, won both and managed to lose 17 points in the process, dropping down 5 places to 66th place.
