Cyprus police denies parcel-bomb sent to President PDF Print E-mail

The Cyprus police has denied that President Demetris Christofias received a parcel-bomb, report local newspapers.

Earlier, authorities said they would increase security measures and check-ups following the large number of parcel-bombs in Greece.

The police spokesman said entry and exit controls from Cyprus have been strengthened, as well as points of transfer from the Greek to the Turkish part of the island.
