Serbia's Trade with Russia up 43% PDF Print E-mail

The volume of trade between Russia and Serbia in the first five months of 2011 equaled USD 1.3 billion, up 43 percent from the same period in 2010.

 

Export from Serbia increased as much as 71 percent to USD 285.2 million, while import from Russia rose 37 percent to around USD 1 billion.


Russia is sixth on the list of Serbia’s most important export partners and the first on the import list. The volume of trade between the two countries in 2010 amounted to USD 2.7 billion, with Serbia’s export of USD 534.7 million.
