amous Macedonian folk singer Goce Arnaudov (52) has passed away late Tuesday after long illness.

He was born in Strumica on Aug. 19, 1959. He started playing guitar at the age of 10 and to sing in his father's band. After finishing high school they formed "Krik" band, which performed throughout former Yugoslavia.

He was the winner of many awards among which is award for best interpretation of most famous singer "Nikola Badev" at "Goce Fest" festival.

The funeral is scheduled for Thursday in Strumica.
