Hundreds of millions of people worldwide will send off 2011 and welcome the New Year 2012 at squares, cafes, restaurants, pubs or with their families on Saturday evening.

The happiest evening will also be celebrated at Skopje square "Macedonia", as well as in other cities throughout Macedonia.

Karolina Goceva, Laura Krliu, Vlatko Ilievski, Full Stop Band, Elena Risteska, Lambe Alabakoski, Garo Tavitjan, Esma Redzepova, Vlado Janevski and Toni Zen will entertain Skopje citizens during the evening.

The tiny Pacific nations of Kiribati and Tonga will be the first to welcome 2012, whereas citizens of the US west coast and Alaska will be the last several hours later.
