UK Embassy, Scottish football fans make donation to Center for Homeless Children PDF Print E-mail

British Embassy and Scottish organization 'Tartan Army Children's Charity' donated Wednesday money, furniture and technical equipment to the Day Center for homeless Children in Skopje settlement Suto Orizari.

The sum of about $7.000 is aimed to cover daily needs of food, clothes, learning and personal hygiene of the children. This is the second donation of the Scottish charity organization. In 2008 it collected $ 5.500 for Suto Orizari Center from Macedonia-Scotland football match.

British Ambassador to Macedonia Christopher Yvon handed over the Embassy's donation, namely furniture and technical equipment for regular functioning of the Center.

'Tartan Army Children's Charity' aims to help disadvantaged children in Scotland and in countries that its members visit whilst supporting Scotland's national football team.
