In
the framework of the visit to the Russian Federation, Prime Minister
Nikola Gruevski is set to meet Thursday with President Vladimir Putin at
the International Economic Forum held in the city.
The meeting will provide a fresh impetus to bilateral political relations, as well as economic ties in coming years.
The Saint Petersburg forum brings together renowned experts, analysts, businessmen and politicians.
The Government team will present Macedonia's
investment opportunities and benefits at a forum hosted by the city's
Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Macedonian delegation will also meet managing teams of Gazprom, Stroytransgaz and Lukoil companies.
Moreover, PM Gruevski will formally open Macedonia's
Honorary Consulate in Saint Petersburg and meet with Leningrad Region
Governor Alexander Drozdenko.
The week-long visit to the Russian Federation
included visits to Moscow, Vladimir, Nizhny Novgorod, where the
Government team held business forums for promotion of Macedonia's
investment benefits.
