Among the largest tech companies, which one do you think offers the best starting pay?
Apple? Maybe Google? Try Nvidia.
The maker of graphics processors offers median starting pay of $99,400, according to data from online compensation data provider PayScale Inc., which recently examined information on 21 large tech companies.
Google, meanwhile, offers the highest mid-career salary — a median of $158,000 a year — to people with 10 or more years of work experience, said the report. The search giant also lets workers bring their pets to work.
Want lots of vacation? Facebook offers 3.6 weeks per year, according to PayScale. Do you prefer to hang with the older crowd? Try Hewlett-Packard, where the median age is 39, according to the report. Perhaps you’re a guy wanting to work at a place with more women? Consider LinkedIn or Monster.com.
Choices, choices …
