The fire that broke out near Strumica is under control. Firemen and workers of public company for communal activities 'Komunalec,' Belasica forestry company and 'Bor' from Kavadarci are on the terrain since early Tuesday, Crisis Management Centre said in a press release.

Fire which occurred between villages of Ljubojno and Dolno Dupeni was reactivated late Monday however firemen team from Resen, Ohrid, Bitola, National park 'Pelister' and 200 locals succeeded to change the direction of the fire and are still extinguishing it.

The fire above the village of Grupcin, Zelino municipality is still active but with smaller intensity. On Monday winds helped the fire to spread to a forest area of around 5.000sqm. Since Tuesday morning teams of Tetovo fire-fighting unit and forestry company are extinguishing the fire.

Moreover, fire near the village of Nivicino, Vasilevo municipality is under control. Around 12 workers of Belasica forestry company put out the fire.
