As of Friday, smart phone holders
will be able to use the i-Kat application of the Agency for Real Estate
Cadastre, which enables easy access and insight in all data. The application provides a graphic overview of every location, property certificate info on the lot, its number, size, owners.
The application is free and can be downloaded at http://i-kat.katastar.gov.mk.
"Our goal is to facilitate and simplify procedures
for citizens, enable efficient services", said Deputy-Minister of
Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy Zoran Konjanovski at the
promotion.
The i-Kat application is funded by the Swedish
International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), developed by a
Macedonian company. Macedonia is only a handful of countries in the world which allows its citizens to access and view their property information via multiple electronic devices.
