The President of the World Macedonian Congress, Todor Petrov, sent a letter to the Greek Prime Minister, in response to his letter to the Macedonian PM.
//translated by Mina Mister Karamanlis,
In your response to the Macedonian Prime Minister, you are right of one thing; there is no Macedonian minority in Greece, because, as you well know, the majority of Greece have Macedonian origin, just like You! Sadly, history has thought us that the biggest Turks were the Janissary. If Greece considers the Macedonians as “Slovenes” then a country can't get any more Slavic than Greece, because the only people who are not Slavic in Greece are the black populations of Athens brought in from Africa from the times of the Farans. Yes, the so called “Greeks” are a Minority in Greece, in comparison to the Macedonians, Albanians, Vlachs, Turks, Pomaks, the Roma etc.
Mister Karamanlis,
Don't Forget that until 1831, Greece and Greeks did not exist anywhere in history. Do Not Forget that your falsified history is written by a German. Do not forget that Greece became a country to counter the Ottoman Empire, created to serve British, French, Russian and German interests in the Balkans. Do Not Forget your mother tongue, the Macedonian language. Do Not Forget you were breastfed by a Macedonian mother from Solun. Do not forget that the whole basis of Greece is Macedonia, that the mentors of dividing Macedonia are far, but we have to live together because we are brothers and orthodox.
Mister Karamanlis,
The world knows, Athens' request for Macedonia to change its name by blackmailing the country with vetos, is the last attempt of Athens' mentors to legalize the Occupation of Aegean Macedonia and the genocide over the Macedonian people from 1912-13 until today. The land and properties of Macedonians forced out of Aegean Macedonia are not an economical question for the Court in Strasbourg, when Athens still blocks thousands of them from visiting their homes, doesn't give them access to Cadastral Information nor the Greek Courts. Greece's continuing ghettoisation and genocide over the Macedonians, in effect from the Bucharest Treaty and the Occupation of Aegean Macedonia on August 10, 1913 to present, is a crime that doesn't get old, and sooner or later Athens will pay reparations for it.
Mister Karamanlis,
Macedonia fulfilled all criteria to gain membership in EU and NATO, it respects the territorial integrity of Greece, but if the Greek genocide over the Macedonians in Greece, and Athens Anti Macedonianism with the request for Macedonia to change its name are considered a value of solidarity in the EU and NATO, the Macedonians through out the World will throw out the memberships in these Unions, and this will be confirmed in a referendum. In 1992, Micotakis, (father of Dora Bakoyannis) and Milosevic in London, spoke of dividing Macedonia. In 1992, I am sure, in a sign of good neighborly relations, the Government in Athens made a decision to invade and occupy Macedonian territory. Before, Greece had put a veto in Edinburgh to stop the recognition of a country that would have the word “Macedonia” in its name. Serbian hegemonism disintegrated former Yugoslavia and Serbia. I am afraid, Your Nazi-Fascism and Anti Macedonianism will break up Greece, the consequences will be felt by You, soon enough. Sadly, Athens is against friendly relations, and with its aggressive Anti Macedonianism, promotes unfriendliness, and destabilizes the region. It is not Macedonia's fault for Greece being the last bastion of nazi-fascism, racism and antisemitism in Europe. Mister Karamanlis, History today can not be changed by saying one thing and doing something else replacing it by thesis. We have the same future, we are destined to be neighbors. The greatness of each civilization is in its universal virtues, putting the historical hypothesis on the side. With love, we call on Macedonian - Greek peace, we call for an agreement for ever lasting peace which will replace the temporary Agreement from September 13, 1995. We call on the Macedonian Parliament for a declaration that Macedonian History and Culture does not just belong to the Republic of Macedonia, rather to all Balkan countries where the Macedonian ethnos lives, no matter how different each country interprets history, closely tied to modern geopolitics nor how different the modern literary languages have become, as a by product of modern political nations. God is with us the Macedonians and the Greeks, even with you Son! concludes the president of WMC Todor Petrov, in his letter to Greek PM Costas Karamanlis.
