Image The Law on Use of Languages is in line with the Constitution, Ohrid Framework Agreement, and VMRO-DPMNE principles, said Sunday Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski.

"The law was adopted after long-standing talks and activities of the working groups, resulting in a solution that is in line with the Constitution, Ohrid Framework Agreement and principles we promoted in the past period. I am satisfied that such a quality law has been adopted, which meets European standards", stated PM Gruevski after lighting a candle in Skopje cathedral "St. Kliment Ohridski".

Referring to Saturday's meeting with U.S. Assistant Secretary of State, Christopher Hill, he stressed that talks focused on several topics, with an emphasis of the ongoing Government activities and future plans.

"I briefed him on our program and future plans. Hill is Macedonia's great friend and supporter, and it is good that he is informed on our activities, since you never know when he can provide assistance, taking into account his post in the U.S. administration, present and future", stressed PM Gruevski.

Gruevski is scheduled to visit Johan Tarculovski in the Scheveningen prison in The Hague on Tuesday.

"I want to communicate once again our support for him. We will agree on the Government's future steps, so that Johan once again tries to prove his truth within the appeals procedure", he added.

Gruevski confirmed that the reply of European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso came on Friday, saying he would soon comment on it.

"The fight for our rights and justice is hard and continual. We resume with internationalization of our problem, seeking support wherever we can obtain it", said Gruevski.

Asked about the effect of such correspondence, the Prime Minister stressed, "our task is to fight in this way too, and believe".
