Sunday, 31 July 2016

Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with his Slovenian counterpart, Borut Pahor, in Ljubljana on Saturday, where their conversation touched upon a range of issues, including international security, particularly combating terrorism, as well as economic and humanitarian cooperation.

Putinís visit coincides with the Days of Russian Culture in Slovenia, which are devoted to the opening of a Russian chapel built by Russian prisoners of war during WWI a hundred years ago. Prior to the meeting, the presidents unveiled a memorial for Russian and Soviet soldiers killed in the World Wars.
