VMRO-DPMNE: Ivanov annual speech precisely identifies Macedonia's problems
Thursday, 29 December 2016

VMRO-DPMNE considers that the annual speech of President Gjorge Ivanov precisely identifies the difficulties Macedonia has been dealing with in the course of 2016 on both domestic and international scene, Antonio Milososki, member of the party's executive committee, told a press conference on Thursday.

Ivanov's messages about refuting any redefining of Macedonia as a bi-national state or one divided in cantons should reach each and every diligent politician and serve as an example for defending the national, state interests, Milososki said.

The President's address, he said, advocates unity and reconciliation, which is definitely something the citizens of Macedonia crave for.

However VMRO-DPMNE expected from President Ivanov to pinpoint who was responsible for the violent protests, demolishing of state property, cultural heritage and institutions, which is the only way that could lead to any political, national reconciliation, Milososki said.

The 11 December elections show that the majority of citizens stand for stable, unitary and economically prosperous Macedonia and VMRO-DPMNE will do its best to that effect, Milososki said.
