Albania's Opposition Refuses Elections with Drug Trafficker as Prime Minister
Monday, 03 April 2017

Lulzim Basha, leader of the Albanian opposition Democratic Party, asked that the general elections planned for June 18th are delayed, because the country is not prepared for free and fair elections.

"The criminal and corrupt Edi Rama Government will manipulate the elections", said Basha, who has been leading protests for more than a month demanding that a technical Government which will include opposition representatives is formed before the elections are held.

Edi Rama who is very close with Soros and the US Ambassador in the country is said to be one of the largest drug traffickers in Europe.

Meanwhile, the opposition will maintain its protest tent city in front of the Parliament and a boycott of the legislative body.
