A fuel shortage is believed to have caused the crash
landing of Turkish Airlines passenger at Amsterdam, Dutch daily De Telgraaf
said on Thursday citing sources involved in the investigation.
A Turkish Airlines passenger plane with 135 people aboard crashed while
attempting to land at Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport on Wednesday, fatal for at
least 10 people and injuring at least 80, many of them still in serious condition.
The plane, on a flight from Istanbul,
slammed into a muddy field next to the runway and broke into three parts while
attempting to land at the airport. The accident happened at 10:40am hrs local
time.
