Thursday, 03 April 2008

Image Greece used its right of veto. Veto is a heavy artillery in the diplomatic world. This is going to cost Greece. said Macedonia's Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski.

Gruevski is an optimist for Macedonia's future.

"We are going to continue with our efforts for major gains in all spheres of our lives. Macedonia will continue its development, we have strong citizens, strong friends, many allies, including the US and Turkey. We have gone through many much more difficult situations than this one, this will pass as well, we will dedicate ourselves for the good of Macedonia." concluded Gruevski.

Macedonia's foreign minister Antonio Milososki, issued a short statement at a packed press conference before leaving the NATO Summit. "Greece broke the Interim Agreement from 1995. Macedonian Authorities will look over our involvment in future negotiations. NATO statutes are broken. Instead of judging us by our achievements, we are judged by who we are. We are Macedonians from the Republic of Macedonia, and will remain so forever." concluded Milososki, and without accepting journalists' questions left.

Macedonian journalists in a sign of protest left Bakoyannis' press conference, though one Macedonian journalists startled her by asking "why is she so happy?" The Macedonian journalist left as she gave the response.
