Wednesday, 11 March 2009

Without doubt, the oldest woman on the planet is Sarah Dosova of Kazakhstan who this year in matter of days will turn 130. In her life, she had never visited a doctor, never ate sweets.

Dosova was discovered by accident during a population census in Kazakhstan. She lived in the periphery of the city of Karaganda, with her 42 year old niece.

Sarah has six children, she gave birth to the last child when she was 64.

"I have no secret for my long life. Simply, I have never had any medication, never tasted any pills. When I was sick, i drank herbs, something you would find outside. I didn't eat sweets, but do like cheese and yogurt." says grandma Sarah.

Sarah is born March 27, 1879. First married at the age of 18, she has two brothers. Both of her husbands have passed away. She has a total of 20 nephews and great nephews.

"We need to be happy in our life, only then we wont notice the years going by. Playing or speaking to a great person brings more health than all the medications you can take," says Sarah whose mind is still as sharp as in her youth. //03.11.09 MiNa
