Lazio Striker Goran Pandev takes legal action against Club |

 Lazio striker Goran Pandev has officially filed legal action against his club with the arbitration panel of the Lega Calcio, as reported by La Repubblica, Ansa and Goal.com Italia.
The former Ancona star's lawyer, Mattia Grassani, confirmed the player's action. "The recourse was submitted in the early afternoon," he said.
The player's goal is to attain immediate termination of his contract, rather than wait until June 2010, when it expires.
The 26-year-old has been kept out of the Lazio team since announcing that he wanted to leave the Stadio Olimpico outfit in the summer. He was infamously labelled a "rebel" by president Claudio Lotito, along with Lorenzo De Silvestri (now of Fiorentina) and Cristian Ledesma.
Pandev has even been training separately from his team-mates as a result of being excluded from the squad.
Despite plenty of interest in the hitman, no one was willing to meet Lotito's price-tag of €19 million knowing his contract was soon to expire. Ironically, Pandev had been the best player at Lazio, yet was one of the worst paid. Should the player succeed in rescinding his deal, the likes of Inter, Bayern Munich and Juventus are reportedly ready to pounce for his signature.
