The latest poll ranking by the International Republican Institute has shown the ruling VMRO party led by Nikola Gruevski has increased their ratings from the previous poll done in June by 2 percent. According to the survey, 32% of Macedonians would cast their vote for the ruling party should there be new elections tomorrow.

Despite the opposition's promotion of their new program, the SDSM trails three times behind the ruling party with a rating of 11 percent, which is about one percent less than the previous survey in June.

DUI followed with 10 per cent, but has also fallen by 2 percent, and DPA and New Democracy preserved their rating of 3 per cent.

The new party of Ljube Boskovski United Macedonia has a drop from 1 to 0.7 percent rating, according to the IRI poll.

16 percent of the polled citizens were undecided, the same as in June.

Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski is still a politician with the highest rating, with 25% expressing their confidence in him. IRI claims there is no second place as 22% of the citizens claim they trust no one. SDSM’s leader Branko Crvenkovski has a 7% following, while DUI leader Ahmeti has 6%.

The poll showed that between 94 or 96 percent of citizens would like to see Macedonia in NATO and the EU.
