Nimetz: Macedonia - Greek negotiations to continue PDF Print E-mail

In regard of Greek-Macedonian name dispute UN special envoy Matthew Nimetz said he keeps in contact with both counterparts and suggests new meeting in New York towards mid-November.

The Office of the Spokesperson for Secretary General said that it was given a proposal for setting a new meeting on November 16th.

UN Secretary General Ban-Ki Moon said that Nimetz is ready to repeat name talks as soon as both counterparts are ready.

The UN secretary-general, on an official visit to Athens, said, "Greece is ready to give full support to Nimetz’s proposal.
