Severe weather with strong winds hit southwestern parts of Macedonia, damaging roofing constructions, uprooting polls and leaving one dead and three people injured.

Large portion of the Ohrid General Hospital's roofing construction has been torn up by the wind gusts reaching 10-15 meters per second. The strong winds threaten to tear up the remaining part of the roof.

The death occurred in the city of Bitola, when an "Accent Media" billboard fell on construction workers who were working near by.

D.J. passed away from his injuries, while three of his coworkers were injured. All four were employed at construction company "Niskogradba".

In Ohrid, the Otorynolaryngology Department which is situated at the top floor of the hospital, has been evacuated, the Crisis Management Center announced.

In Kicevo, the roof of the Culture Center and the building of the District Court have been damaged, while the local branch of the Electric Power Company has reported toppled polls.
