Macedonia and Kosovo signed today a Protocol, describing the process of border demarcation in line with Martti Ahtisaari's plan.
 

The co-chairmen of the mixed technical panel for border demarcation, Todor Nanev and Bekim Colaku, put their signatures on the document.
The Protocol empowers the panel to conduct demarcation and marking of the border according to the 2001 Agreement on stretching and description of the state border.          
The panel is expected to complete the demarcation process in a year's time.
